60th: Norbert, Charlotte Lang

Norbert and Charlotte Lang of 108 Arrow Drive will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on May 4. Charlotte Anne Walter and Norbert Louis Lang were married May 4, 1954, at St. John’s Catholic Church by Father James Donaldson.

She is the daughter of the late Clarence and Eunice Walter of Marietta. He is the son of the late William and Eleanor Lang of Lowell. He is retired from BF Goodrich, where he worked for 34 years.

The couple have 10 children: Paula Adams (Ralph) of Cambridge, Jim Lang (Ludy) of Marietta, Cheryl DeWitt of Marietta, Kathy Shenkel (Ron) of Niceville, Fla., Marilyn Zoller (Tim) of Churchtown, Chris Lang (Georgia) of Churchtown, Elaine Hart (Greg) of New Carlisle, Ohio, Lisa Kane (Chris) of Columbus, Ind., Tonia Skinner (Jeff) of Waterford, Ohio, and Keith Lang (Taylor) of Columbus, Ohio.

They also have 30 grandchildren: Rob, Jarod (Lindsey) and Sean Adams. Xanath VanFrayen (Pete) and Nathan Lang (Linda); Nicole Zimmer (Josh), Cbristy Gerken (Josh) and EricDeWitt; Ryan, Branon, Christian (friend Stephanie) and Jill Shenkel; Wesley, Cortland, and Ian Zoller; Chad Eddy, Sheree Wilson (Justin), Kaylee, Olivia, Elaina, and Aubrie Lang; Taylor, Lytia and Evan Hart; Cullen and Raegan Kane; Colten and Alyssa Skinner; Alexandria and Vanessa Lang.

They also have nine great-grandchildren: Gavin Shenkel, Mikayla Shenkel, Gabriella and Brody VanFrayen, Zoe Adams, Mad and Madi Zimmer, Declan Lang, and Chase
