Dickinson-50th

Pat Dickinson and Karen (Ritchie) Dickinson are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married at The Basilica of Saint Mary of the Assumption.

The late Monsignor Robert Punke presided over the ceremony.

The wedding was performed on Oct. 10, 1969.

The couple are the parents of Patrick II of Marietta; Sarah (Jeff) of Batavia, Ohio; Elizabeth of Marietta; and Mary (Chad) of Whipple.

They have five grandchildren: Jeffrey, Andrew, Evan, Jocelynn and Brady. They have one great-grandson, Carter.

Pat is retired from Eramet Metals after 38 years of service. He spent the last 29 years as a supervisor.

Karen worked in retail most of her life. She spent the last 14 years at Lowes as an office clerk. She is also retired.

They plan to celebrate with a mass being said on their behalf at the Basilica on Oct. 6 at noon mass.
