The advent of spring and Easter time brings out the craftier side of many people.
Debbie Cunningham of Marietta makes a variety of Easter-themed crafts for the River City Farmers Market held at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
“I make and sell little bunny pillows with applique and T-shirts with bunnies on them,” she said. “I just started coming up with some ideas on my own, and I’ve been doing the pillows and applique for about six years now.”
For those who may have a difficult time developing their own craft ideas, there are plenty of websites with examples as well as instructions for easy-to-make crafts for Easter or any occasion.
For crafts children and adults can share, try sites like thecraftycrow.net, spoonful.com, parenting.com or countryliving.com.
Local libraries are also a great source for craft ideas.
