Kristin Marie Goff and Joseph Howard Mitchem were united in marriage on Sept. 29, 2012, at Saint Marys Catholic Church in Marietta.

The bride is the daughter of Dwight and Dedra Goff of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Roy B. and Clara Mae Griffith of Cornwallis in Ritchie County, and the late Clifford and Wanda Goff of Harrisville in Ritchie County. She is a 2002 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2007 graduate of West Liberty with a degree in speech pathology. She is employed by Honor Resources as a title examiner.

The bridegroom is the son of Joe and Sally Mitchem of Belpre. He is a 2001 graduate of Warren High School and completing his degree at DeVry University in project management. He is employed by Honor Resources as a project manager.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a white ballroom gown with silver overlay, removable skirt with jewel encrusted pick-ups and a tiara replica of Princess Kate. She carried a bouquet of hydrangea.

Valerie Goff, sister of the bride and Stephanie Mitchem, sister of the bridegroom were the maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Michelle Wukelieh, sister of the bridegroom, Kelli Harton, Chandra Debarr, Lindsay Honaker and Kari Jackson. Logan Wukelieh, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

Derrick Wetz and Aaron Coffman were the best men. The groomsmen were Doug Seaman, Josh Adams, Andrew Coffman, Isaac Ward and Matt Wukelieh, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.

A dinner and dancing reception was held at the Marietta Shrine Club. The wedding colors were navy blue and silver.

The couple danced their first dance to the original “Times of Your Life” choreographed by the bride.

After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, they reside in Vienna, W.Va.
