Hart-Mercier

Misty Nicole Hart, daughter of Dennis and Lydia Hart of Marietta, and Timothy Mark Mercier, son of Mary Jo Mercier of Daytona Beach Shores, Fla. and James Mercier of Dublin, Ohio, were united in marriage on June 1 at Liberty Presbyterian Church in Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Don Coleman officiated the ceremony.

The bride wore a strapless satin and tulle wedding gown embellished with beaded lace, sparkling pick-ups, and a flowing chapel train. Joanna Dauber, from Philadelphia, Pa., served as maid of honor. She wore a lavender chiffon dress and carried a bouquet of lavender roses, accented by wild flowers and Queen Anne’s lace.

The bridegroom’s brother, Robert Mercier of Southington, Conn., served as best man. Ushers were Sean Goins, the bride’s cousin, of Marietta, and Tyler Johnson of Columbus. Readings were done by Eileen Minamyer, aunt of the bridegroom, of Centerville, Ohio and Kelly Mellor of Columbus. The bride’s grandmother, Della Keelin, was a guest of honor.

The reception with dancing was held at Glenross Golf Club.

After their honeymoon cruise in Belize and Cozumel, the bride and bridegroom will begin their married life in Ormond Beach, Fla. He is the owner of Mercier Painting and she is a middle school language arts teacher at Ormond Beach Middle School.
