Julie Lynn Yonaley and Michael Travis Bonnema exchanged marriage vows during an outdoor ceremony on Oct. 5, 2013, at Perry Park Country Club in Larkspur, Colo.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald Yonaley and Karen Yonaley, both of Marietta. The bridegroom is the son of Bruce and Linda Bonnema of Arvada, Colo.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore a strapless, satin and beaded gown. She carried a bouquet of pink stock, alstroemeria, roses and antique carnations. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Chaplain Larry Baker. A Bible scripture reading was given by Lynette Luna, siter of the bridegroom.
The matron of honor was Jennifer Stasek. Marcia Yonaley, sister-in-law of the bride, served as bridesmaid. They wore meadow green, satin dresses and carried bouquets smaller and identical to the bride’s. Flower girls were Eva Yonaley, niece of the bride, and Brooke Luna, niece of the bridegroom.
Bruce Bonnema, father of the bridegroom, served as best man. Travis Haskin was the groomsman. The bridegrooom’s nephews, Mason and Carter Luna, served as ushers, assisted by their father, Paul Luna. Brian Yonaley, brother of the bride, videotaped the ceremony.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Perry Park Country Club. A rehersal dinner was hosted the evening before by the bridegroom’s parents, also at the country club.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University. She is employed as a critical care nurse at Thornton, Colo. The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Idaho Falls High School and a 2004 graduate of Montana State University. He works as a chemical engineer at Arvada.
The couple honeymooned at Belize and reside in Arvada.
