Daniel Joseph Betts and Regan Dee Spindler were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony on June 7, 2014, at Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort in Tabernash, Colo. Officiant was Geoff Beltzhoover.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. David and Nancy Spindler of Marietta. The bridegroom is the son of A. Radley and Maureen Betts of Weare, N.H. He is the grandson of Thelma Betts
The bride earned her Bachelor’s in English from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She is a Sr. Content Writer at Hubzu in Atlanta in a telecommuting position.
The bridegroom earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting at Southern New Hampshire University in Hooksett, N.H. He is working toward MBA in finance. He is Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Smartwool in Steamboat Springs, Colo.
Ryan Cox (guitar), Andrew Henry (mandolin), Jon Huge (dobros), and all members of Missed the Boat (band from Steamboat Springs, Colo. provided the ceremony music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. She wore a strapless A-line dress with lace applique details, a wink net veil with a horsehair flower, Swarovski pearls, and biot feathers. Her flowers were classic and romantic in style, using peonies, blushing bride protea, hanging amaranthus, and maidenhair fern.
The matron of honor was Amy Beck, wife of officiant. She wore a sequin mesh gown in color nude. Her flowers similar to the bride’s. The best man was David Betts, twin brother of bridegroom.
The reception was held at Broad Axe Barn, Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort.
They took a honeymoon trip to Australia and Fiji and reside in Steamboat Springs, Colo.
