Walsh-Drennon

Emily Suzanne Walsh and Caleb Scott Drennon were married July 25, 2015, at Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna, W.Va. Pastor Gregory Markins officiated the afternoon ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Darlene Walsh of Vienna. She is the granddaughter of Reva and the late Thomas Fluharty and John and Antoinette Walsh.

Emily is a 2010 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2014 honors graduate of Marietta College with a degree in studio art. Currently, she is graduate student in the Masters (Art Education) Program at West Virginia University.

The groom is the son of David and the late Rebecca Drennon of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of the late Delbert and Mary Drennon and the late Gleston and Sybil Simmons.

Caleb is a 2010 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2014 graduate of Marietta College with a degree in petroleum engineering. He is employed as an engineer with Calfrac Well Services in Smithfield, Pa.

Caroline Walsh, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Hannah McMillan, sister of the groom; Jennifer Huber, sister of the groom; Mallory Walsh, cousin of the bride; and Taylor Stanley, friend of the bride. Flower girls were Addyson and Aubrey Robey, cousins of the bride. The bride’s cousins, Isaiah and Isabella Casto, greeted guests at the wedding.

Phillip Kellison, friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Chris McConaha, Kyle Kessell, Winston West, Tylar Shapaka, all friends of the groom.

In keeping with tradition and in remembrance, the bride’s “something borrowed” was a piece of Mrs. Drennon’s jewelry; the “something old” was her late grandfather’s pocket watch; and her “something blue” were dresses worn by her friends Meghan Cunningham, Emilea Lantz, Charlotte Romberger, and Phyllis Smith. Music was provided by Jessica Baldwin.

The reception was held at The Adelphia Music Hall in Marietta.

A honeymoon trip was taken to Myrtle Beach, S.C. The couple resides in Morgantown, W.Va.
