Destiny Nicole Cathleen Chamberlin and David Jason Jones were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the groom’s grandparents, Ray and Sara Jones of Waterford.
The bride is the daughter of the late Dawn Marie Chamberlin. She is the granddaughter of Faye Farmer of Marietta and the great-granddaughter of the late Ray and Virginia Farmer.
The groom is the son of Tom and Doddi Jones of Waterford, the grandson of Ray and Sara Jones of Waterford, the grandson of Betty Wise and Popeye McMannis of McConnelsville, and the late James W. Wise.
Given in marriage and escorted by her uncle, Jeffie “Gator” Harris and her grandmother, Faye Farmer of Marietta, the bride wore a strapless, full length dress made of lace with a train. She carried daisies with a picture of her late mother, Dawn Marie (Chamberlin) Haught, and her aunt, the late Jennifer Brown.
Maid of honor was Sara Faylian Michele Harris, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Aleaha Welch, Susan Schaad, Kacie Wright, Natalie Maze and Andi Lincoln.
Groomsmen were Dustin Jones, Dan Jones, Vince Schaad, Jason Schott, Brandon Wagner and Dennis Jones.
Flower girls were Stella Niceswanger and Lily Jones.
Ringbearer was Colt Welch.
A reception was held at the K of C Hall in Churchtown.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents, Tom and Doddi Jones, hosted a rehearsal dinner at the home of David and Destiny.
The couple flew to Sacramento, Calif., and traveled back through several states for eight days for their honeymoon. They will reside in Waterford.
