Haines-Sharp

Jessica Marie Haines and Jeffrey Paul Sharp were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. May 6, 2016 at The Brookshire in Columbus. Chase Waits officiated the private, double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Glen and Terri Haines of Lowell and the groom is the son of Gayle Sharp of Sylvania, Ohio, and Randy Sharp of Perrysburg, Ohio.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a vintage ivory lace floor length Mori Lee gown with crystal beading with a light gold satin sheath underneath. It featured an open back with beaded scalloped lace, covered buttons, and a chapel length train.

The bride carried a bouquet of burgundy dahlias, ivory and light pink roses wrapped with an ivory ribbon.

Maid of honor was Lynette Stengel of Lowell, friend of the bride. She wore a floor-length vintage rose gown with convertible straps of bellini tulle and carried a smaller bouquet of flowers identical to the bride’s.

Bridesmaids were Casey Archer, friend of the bride; Amy Straley, sister of the bridegroom; and Margaret Amato, sister of the bridegroom. They wore dresses identical to the maid of honor’s.

Best man was Jay Michaels, friend of the bridegroom.

Groomsmen were Brent Straley, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Ryan Hicks, friend of the bridegroom, and Zach Shawver, friend of the bridegroom.

Usher was Jacob Haines of Lowell, brother of the bride.

The bride graduated from Fort Frye High School and The Ohio State University. She is a respiratory therapist/supervisor at Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green.

The bridegroom graduated from Sylvania Northview High School, The Ohio State University, and Toledo Police Academy. He is an officer for the Toledo Police Department.

The bride is the granddaughter of Edwin and Grace Long of Lowell and the late Harry and Edna Haines of Beverly. The bridegroom is the grandson of Jackie Gillen and the late Harvey Gillen of Toledo and the late Paul and Shirley Sharp of Toledo.

A reception was held at The Brookshire and the couple went on a seven-day Caribbean cruise. They now reside in Perrysburg, Ohio.
