The Barlow Library will host a program by nature artist and writer Julie Zickefoose, “Personal Habitat: Creating a Haven for Wildlife (And Yourself)” at 7 p.m. March 30. The program will discuss how to add simple habitat enhancements that can take a backyard from bland to bustling with wildlife. The event is free and open to the public. Longaberger Basket Bingo in Cutler
Longaberger Basket Bingo will be held Saturday at the Cutler Community Center, 4550 Two Mile Run Road. Doors open at 11 a.m. and bingo begins at noon. The kitchen will be open and selling tacos-in-a-bag, nachos, hot dogs, sloppy joes, chips, drinks and desserts. There will be a country store, raffle, a 50/50 drawing and a special raffle that will include a Visa gift card and a gift certificate for a meat package. Post 389 sponsors public steak fry
Beverly Post 389 of The American Legion is sponsoring a public steak fry from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the post, 114 Fifth St. The cost is $12, which includes steak, baked potato, salad, a roll and coffee. Other drinks may be purchased separately. The Corey Hager Band will entertain after the steak fry.
Chili supper Saturday at Sand Hill church
A chili supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Sand Hill United Methodist Church, 725 Sandhill Road, Reno. Hot dogs with sauce, tea or coffee, dessert and bake sale items will also be offered. Donations are appreciated.
O’Neill Center holds health fair Monday
The O’Neill Center will host a health fair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday. Screening stations will include blood sugar, blood oxygen, blood pressure, BMI, posture and more. There will also be a massage area.

Farm Bureau to hold breakfast meeting
The Washington County Farm Bureau will be holding its breakfast meeting at 8 a.m. Saturday at Waterford High School. Nationwide Insurance will be presenting “Risk Management.” Farm Bureau members are encouraged to bring an old SMV (slow moving vehicle sign) and it will be replaced free of charge, one per member. Additional signs may be purchased.
