Fur Ball dance March 25

The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley is holding its 14th annual Fur Ball Dance and Auction on Saturday, March 25. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for HSOV and proceeds go directly to operating the shelter on Mt Tom Road. Each year, HSOV takes in over 1,500 animals. Dogs, cats, pigs, goats, horses, we have seen them all come through our doors either abandoned, lost, or abused. Our mission is to find them homes where they can lead happy lives being loved and cared for. Until we find those homes, the staff at HSOV sees to their medical needs and socializes them for their new families.

The Fur Ball features the band, “The Bash, which gets the crowd dancing from their very first note. There is also a silent auction with over 30 awesome items and a “live” auction that this year will feature season passes to the Adelphia, season passes to Peoples Bank Theatre, paintings from two local artists, and many more items. There will also be a reverse raffle and the event is catered by DaVincis. Marietta Shrine Club has provided the venue for the event.

Tickets are $35 each or $350 for a reserved table of 8 and can be purchased by contacting Becky Johnston at 740-350-2766 phone or text.
