Smoothie Bike at 4-H open house

The Smoothie Bike with an attached blender was just one attraction at the recent 4-H open house held in the Junior Fair Building at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Amber Peck, 4-H volunteer and parent, teaches a participant how to make a healthy fruit smoothie. Over 120 parents and youth attended the event. Families learned about joining a 4-H club, selecting a 4-H project, attending 4-H camp and other opportunities available through 4-H. The enrollment deadline to join 4-H is April 14.
