Book author at Beverly Library April 15

The Beverly Library would like to invite everyone to an afternoon author visit. Local author Jeffrey T. Morris will be at the Beverly Library on April 15 at 1 p.m. He will be discussing his new book “But I Do Believe In God’s Country.”

“Jeff Morris grew up reading –novels to escape life at home and tales of Southeastern Ohio to create a space where he felt he belonged. He ran away, geographically in his late teens, but kept reading and eventually went to school–RIT for an Engineering degree and graduate certificate in Statistics and SUNY Cortland for a BA and MA in English.

Engineering helped pay the bills. The English degrees rekindled the desire to write.

Morris’s first book “Won’t Come Home” is based loosely on his life from age 17 to 30. His new book “But I Do Believe in God’s Country” is the first in a planned series of books taking place in the Muskingum River Valley in Ohio.

Jeff’s early life was spent in various river towns in Ohio. Throughout childhood, Morris made weekend trips down to Morgan County to visit relatives. Colorado is where he and wife Jean live, but Southeastern Ohio is his home.” (Amazon.com)
