Copper Leaf completes 21st year in business

From local reports

Copper Leaf Interior Design Studio announces the completion of its 21st year in business. Copper Leaf, owned by Pamela Holschuh, ASID, began in 1996 as Designs, a design firm and retail location, on Front Street in Marietta. As the business grew, Holschuh, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Ohio University, began to expand her venture, including commercial and residential design services and project management for new construction, remodeling and renovations. In the fall of 2013, Copper Leaf relocated to 415 Gilman Ave., along the Muskingum River in Marietta. This newest location more than tripled the previous space, and provided the opportunity for the company to expand their showroom as a Showcase Dealer for Hunter Douglas shade systems. Additionally, the showroom holds American Leather furnishings, a variety of rugs, fabrics, wallcoverings and accessories as well as an extensive selection of building materials from around the globe.

Copper Leaf marked the 2017 anniversary with an open house event that was co-hosted with one of their newer partners, the Mid-Ohio Valley Chamber of Commerce. The well attended event was the backdrop of the rollout of a new branding campaign, including an updated logo and redesigned website, www.copperleafinteriors.com. This year has also seen other noteworthy accomplishments, such as Pamela’s position on the board of the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), the completion of the renovation of the People’s Bank Theater, with which Copper Leaf has been involved for years, and the earning of the Best of Houzz, Service and Best of Houzz, Design awards. Other exciting endeavors in the recent history of this unique company include consistently earning design awards from the ASID, as well as making its television debut on Food Network, by providing branding and design services for two competing restaurants on Food Court Wars, a Tyler Florence show.
