¯ Deputies responded to Marietta Township on Tuesday in reference to a possible assault. The subjects did not wish to pursue charges.

¯ A deputy responded to 75 Martin Drive, Fleming, on Wednesday in reference to the report of a domestic violence incident. It was reported that Marissa Kiggans had assaulted Cindy Black. Black reported that she confronted Kiggans about missing items. Black was asking Kiggans to empty her purse while Kiggans was on the telephone and she would not hang up the phone. Black reached for Kiggans’ purse and Kiggans struck Black in the chest. Black states she then took the phone and Kiggans struck her again. Multiple attempts were made to locate Kiggans, with negative results. Charges for domestic violence were filed through Marietta Municipal Court on Marissa Brianne Kiggans, 31, of 75 Martin Drive, Fleming.

¯ A deputy responded to a possible domestic incident on Wednesday in Aurelius Township. No threats of harm were made and the case was closed as unfounded.

¯Jordin Romick, of 1308 Williamson Ave., New Matamoras, reported a window broken from her residence on Wednesday. This case remains under investigation.

¯ On Thursday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a juvenile recently housed at the Washington County Juvenile Center, 1699 Colegate Drive, Marietta, had left on foot. The juvenile was located near the fairgrounds and will be summoned into Washington County Juvenile Court on a charge of escape.

¯ Erica T. Kidder, of 2105 Pride Ave., Belpre; cruelty to animals.

¯ Nicholas J. Patterson, of 1110 Hocking Road, Apt. C, Belpre; disorderly conduct.

Arrests/Washington County

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

¯ Jason Howard Ellis, 36, of 4305 14th Ave., Parkersburg, was arrested Thursday for probation violation, a felony.

¯ Joseph Leroy Huston, 37, of 609 Charles St., Parkersburg, was arrested Friday for drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

¯ Ashley Junelle Rollyson, 31, of 3669 Buck Run Road, Mineral Wells, W.Va., was arrested Friday for improper handling of a firearm, a felony.
