¯ Timothy W. O’Grady, of 1209 Cisler Drive, Apt. D, reported a burglary on Sept. 12. A cross bow was stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.
¯ John A. Burge, of 312 Maple St., reported Sept. 12 that his unlocked vehicle had been broken into and a red and black Craftsman tool box and tools were stolen.
¯ Larry A. Carney, of 100 Gilman Ave., reported Sept. 13 that four tires were stolen from a vehicle.
¯ A loss prevention officer from Lowe’s reported Sept. 13 that items had been stolen from the store and there was video of the subject.
¯ Lorrie A. Elliott, of 712 Fourth St., reported Thursday that a male juvenile had entered her backyard by pushing through the fence door.
¯ A shoplifter was reported Friday at Walmart, 804 Pike St. Daniel E. Sciance, of 105 Wyoming Road, was arrested for theft.
¯ Scott M. Medley, of 143 Rauch Drive, reported being assaulted at his business, Cole’s Tire, at 205 Greene St. Through investigation it was learned that Edloe L. Bryant, of 575 Road Run Road, Elizabeth, W.Va. was upset with his service and started an altercation that led to him striking Medley with a cane. Bryant was arrested for assault.
¯ Officers responded to the 200 block of Third Street Saturday for a complaint of assault and property damage. Dashawn McLastier, of 2071 N. Green Road, Cleveland, was arrested for assaulting a man and for three counts of criminal damaging against three separate victims.
¯ Officers were dispatched Sunday to a group home at 414 Washington St. in reference to abandoned property. They were told the mother of a client had left a purse containing prescription medication inside a room. The subject had arrived at the location earlier while intoxicated and been forced to leave by police after causing a disturbance.
The pills in the purse were for a prescription that was no longer valid and were for the woman’s son. The pills were added to evidence for destruction.
¯ A deputy was dispatched to 1157 Clement Ave., Belpre, on Friday to meet with Melissa Shepard. Shepard reported an outbuilding entered and items to include a Craftsman miter saw, welder, wheelbarrow, Stihl chainsaw and fishing items removed. This case remains under investigation.
¯ On Saturday, a deputy was dispatched to 107 Sixth St., Beverly, in regards to a disturbance. Roben McCutcheon advised that her son, Joshua Campbell, was out of control and yelling at her and other family members. An officer had been to this address once prior on the same evening when a squad was called to that location. Campbell was apologetic and stated he did not remember saying the things they had reported. One family member was in fear for her safety as Campbell had made threats to her. Other witnesses saw Campbell in the yard and said he made threats in their direction. These subjects each requested a protection order as they feared for their lives. Joshua Daniel Campbell, 32, of 107 Sixth St., Beverly, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and menacing.
¯ A deputy and the Beverly Waterford Volunteer Fire Department responded to Jukebox Pizza, 620 Main St., Waterford, on Saturday to a report of a fire at the business. The fire was extinguished and mutual aid from M&M Fire was canceled.
¯ A deputy responded to Marietta Township on Saturday in reference to a domestic violence investigation. Upon speaking with all parties it was determined this case would be unfounded.
¯Ray VanKirk, of 1845 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported a .22 Marlin rifle missing from his home on Saturday. This case remains under investigation.
¯ On Saturday, deputies responded to 571 Swift Road, Waterford and were advised that Dalton Ball had struck Haley Oliver’s vehicle with a baseball bat. They observed damage to a driver’ side mirror of a vehicle. Oliver further advised that when she was on the phone with the police Ball slammed the car door on her leg. A large swollen mark was observed on Oliver’s leg, consistent with her explanation. Ball denied having caused the injury to Oliver’s leg. Dalton Matthew Ball, 19, of 571 Swift Road, Waterford, was placed under arrest for assault and criminal damage.
¯ The sheriff’s office received notification on Saturday that Missi A. Scott was driving a blue Jeep Cherokee on a suspended license near the area of Sandhill Road. The vehicle was observed and a traffic stop initiated. A citation was issued to Scott for driving under suspension.
¯ Armondo Razo, of Lorain, reported Saturday that his wallet was missing after he stopped to get gas at the Pit Stop Station, 3355 State Route 821, Marietta. This case remains under investigation.
¯ Rebecca Taylor, of 4060 Sugar Run Road, Marietta, reported Sunday that the home was entered and items of value removed, including a PlayStation system and games. This case remains under investigation.
¯ A deputy responded to New Matamoras on Sunday in reference to an assault. The victim declined any prosecution in this case.
¯ On Sunday, a deputy, along with the Dunham, Little Hocking and Barlow volunteer fire departments responded to 7585 Veto Road, Belpre, to a RV fire. George Ruth reports the electric flashed and then he saw his RV on fire. The fire completely destroyed the RV.

¯ Margaret Rose Ireton, 45, of 966 E. Ridge Drive, Lebanon, was arrested Monday on a warrant for probation violation out of Montgomery County.
¯ Mark Evan Macaulay, 36, of 2414 Norris Ave., Belpre, was arrested Monday on warrants for drug instrument possession, drug paraphernalia two counts, drug possession, domestic violence and breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors.
