Queen announced at soccer game Friday

Homecoming week activities for Wood County Christian School began on Monday, Sept. 18, with the homecoming varsity soccer game played on Friday evening beginning at 5 p.m. against Grace Christian School. Varsity volleyball followed at 6:30 p.m. The 2017 homecoming court is: Ninth grade princess — Camryn Irving, daughter of Brent and Heather Irvin of Williamstown; 10th grade princess — Joyce McSherry, daughter of John and Cynthia McSherry of Belpre; 11th grade princess — Hannah Davis, daughter of Gabe and Terri Davis of Belpre. The homecoming queen candidates are: Emily Browning, daughter of Steve and Tracy Browning of Mineral Wells; Jillian Shockley, daughter of Michael and Kelly Shockley of Vienna; Hannah Headley, daughter of Rick and Lucille Headley of Marietta; Sydney Lewis, daughter of Robert and Misty Lewis of Parkersburg; Madelyn Goff, daughter of Brian and Deidra Goff of Vienna; and Bailey Jackson, daughter of Matt and Jennifer Jackson of Newport.

The homecoming parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. The 2017 Homecoming Queen will be announced at half-time of the varsity soccer game.
