Epicenter offers business workshop in October
The Epicenter, providing youth and entrepreneurial development, are hosting workshops focused on helping new and existing entrepreneurs utilize the Value Proposition Canvas and Business Model Canvas. These tools provide a simple way to understand your customers’ needs and design the products and services they want.
They are global standards used by companies of all sizes.
The first workshop was held Oct. 4 — “Find Value in Your Work: The Value Proposition Canvas” presented by Nathaniel Berger of LIGHTS. Participants learned how to find value in their work, whether that be an idea, a product, or a service residing in any organizational structure. It was a hands-on introduction to the Strategyzer Value Proposition Canvas, and it can help benefit you and your organization. This event had participants not just learning, but working towards finding value for your customers immediately.
The second workshop is “Business Model Canvas: Design, Challenge and Create” your business model for future success presented by Ariana Ulloa-Olavarrieta also of LIGHTS. It will be held on Oct. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. Now that you have established your Value Proposition and know who your Client Segments are, let’s figure out the best strategy to get your product/service out to them. In this follow-up course to “Find Value in Your Work: The Value Proposition Canvas,” we will determine key resources, activities, channels and partners for your business — and how much it will cost you. Come ready to apply this workshop to your existing business or new idea.
