Library offers free computer classes in November

The Washington County Public Library offers free computer classes in November at four of its libraries:

Barlow

The Barlow location of the Washington County Public Library, at 45 White Oak Professional Center, will be offering the following free computer class in November 2017:

Digital Tablets – Getting Started

Tuesday, November 14 at 10 AM

Not quite sure how to make your digital tablet work? Then come to this class and learn how to set it up, connect it to a wireless network, and get started using it. This class cover iPads, android tablets, and Kindle Fires.

Digital Tablets – Working with Apps

Tuesday, November 28 at 10 AM

Come to this class to learn the basics of installing, managing, and using apps on digital tablets. This class covers iPads, android tablets, and Kindle Fires.

Computer classes are free of charge and last 2 hours. Space is limited so registration in recommended.

Belpre

The Belpre branch of the Washington County Public Library at 2012 Washington Blvd., will be offering the following free computer classes in November 2017:

Using Computers – Make It Yours

Wednesday, November 1 at 10 AM

Does your computer look the same as it did the day you first set it up? Then it is time to liven things up. Come learn how to change your computer’s appearance and behavior to suit your computing style.

Using Computers – Backups and More Wednesday, November 28 at 10 AM

There are steps you can take to make your computer use more worry free. Learn how to backup and restore your computer so you are prepare for problems. This class also looks at account management, and how to install apps and devices.

Computer classes are 2 hours long. Space is limited so registration in recommended.

Tuesday, November 7 at 1 PM

Selling on eBay

Monday, November 13 at 6 PM

Is your house getting a little cluttered? You may be able to get rid of your old stuff by selling it on eBay. Learn how to get started in this class.
