Reports/Marietta

¯ Officers were dispatched to the Harmar Tavern, 205 Maple St., on Sept. 26 in reference to a disturbance involving a father and son. The father had left prior to police arrival. Witnesses were interviewed about the incident.

¯ On Sept. 26, officers assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a high speed pursuit. The pursuit ended in the 200 block of Linwood Ave. Three people were arrested by OSHP.

¯ Daniel James, of 1005 Orchard St., No. 6, reported Sept. 27 that his laptop had been stolen from his vehicle.

¯ Andrew J. Erb, of 411 Fearing St., reported Sept. 27 that a power tool was taken and replaced with an older model. This case remains under investigation.

¯ Kenneth E. Barlow, of 116 Spring St., reported Sept. 27 that a neighbor had come onto his property and put items in his trash can.

¯ Officers arrived at Ridgewood Court Apartments Sept. 28 after receiving information that Paul E. Fisher was there. Fisher was wanted for a felony probation violation. He was arrested. Also in the apartment was Christopher B. Stombo, who had a warrant for abandoning an animal and had been banned from the apartments. He was charged with criminal trespassing.

¯ An officer was dispatched to 804 Front St. on Friday in reference to Kenneth Rogers, of 801 ¢ Front St., not paying his cab fare and fleeing to 100A Linwood Ave., his ex-girlfriend’s house. It was later learned he violated a protection order held by Astin A. Oliver by entering the residence. He was arrested for theft, obstruction of official business and violation of a protection order.

¯ The director of the Marietta Family YMCA, 300 N. Seventh St., reported Friday that Peoples Bank had notified them that two people had forged and passed checks and drew money from their account. The investigation is ongoing.

¯ Staff of Marietta Middle School, 242 N. Seventh St., reported possible inappropriate use of social media. An investigation is ongoing.

¯ An officer was dispatched to 219 Ingleside Ave. on Friday in reference to two security cameras being found in the front yard. The cameras were collected and placed into evidence.

¯ Employees of Marietta Memorial Hospital reported a theft Friday. A female patient walked away from the hospital with medical equipment still attached to her. The case remains under investigation.

¯ On Sunday, an officer was dispatched to 308 Harmar St. for a domestic violence complaint. Witnesses said Troy Griffin, of that address, shoved a juvenile against a dresser. He will be charged with domestic violence.

¯ An officer recovered an abandoned pistol with a magazine in a restroom at Marietta Memorial Hospital on Sunday. The weapon was entered into evidence at the police station.

¯ John R. Broughton, of 106 Rathbone Terrace, reported the misuse of a credit card on Monday.

Reports/Washington County

¯ On Sept. 27, a deputy responded to 637 Martin Drive, Fleming, in reference to Aaron Anderson reporting his trailer burned completely to the ground.

¯ Shane F. Carpenter, of 370 Cisler Ridge Road, New Matamoras, reported on Sept. 27 that items were removed from his property. This case remains under investigation.

¯ A deputy began a telephone harassment investigation on Sept. 28. This case remains under investigation.

¯ Edgar T. McClain, of 480 Perry Road, Cutler, reported his home entered on Sept. 28 and items of value removed. This case remains under investigation.

¯ Deputies along with the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to 2467 Veto Road, Vincent, on Friday to render aid to Kevin Bartlett who had been found unresponsive from what appears to be an overdose. This case remains under investigation.

¯ A deputy began an investigation in Marietta Township on Friday regarding an unruly child. This case remains under investigation.

Arrests/Washington County

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

¯ Douglas Gene Snider, Jr., 43, of 1314 Glendale Road, Marietta, on warrants for drugs possession, possession of criminal tools, receiving stolen property, theft, breaking and entering and contempt of court, all felonies; domestic violence, two counts, and contempt of court, misdemeanors. Snider was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail and processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday.

¯ Sherri Ann Lawell, 28, of 1326 Colegate Drive, Marietta, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for disorderly conduct and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors.

¯ Charles Everett Murray, 26, of 6970 Goshen Road, Goshen, was arrested Tuesday for burglary, a felony.

¯ William Chevelle Bailey, 38, of 4055 Patten Mills Road, Stockport, was arrested Tuesday for drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

¯ Sommer Lain McBee, 40, of 3775 Terrace Ave., Columbus, was arrested Tuesday for drug possession, a felony.

¯ Adam Cory Patrick, 38, of 5686 Clover Ridge Drive, Lima, was arrested Tuesday for contempt of a court order.

¯ Taashan Andre Smith, 43, of 1010 Constoga Drive, Columbus, was arrested Tuesday for parole violation and two counts of drug possession, all felonies.

¯ Christy Lynn Biehl, 36, of 16040 State Route 550, Fleming, was arrested Wednesday for two counts of burglary and two counts of theft, felonies.

¯ Dalton Lee Burt, 24, of 430 Spears Hill Road, Stockport, was arrested Wednesday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
