Breakfast served by Beverly Post 389

The Beverly Post 389 of the American Legion is sponsoring a public breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the post home on Fifth Street. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Proceeds benefit the communities American Flag displays in Beverly and Waterford.

O’Neill Center

program about falls

The O’Neill Center is offering “A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls” on Thursdays, beginning on Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. Sessions will be held for six weeks. This is a free program. A workbook is provided and healthy snacks are served.

Civil War Round Table Thursday in Marietta

The next regular meeting of the Civil War Round Table of the Mid-Ohio Valley will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 320 Second St., Marietta. The speaker will be Katharine L. Brown, who will present the program “Civil War Leaders from Parkersburg’s Julia-Ann Square Historic District.”

Band Boosters

hold craft show

The Marietta Band Boosters annual Holiday Craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Washington County Fairgrounds in the Junior Fair Building. Many talented local vendors will be selling their crafts/products. There will also be concessions and a raffle of craft items donated by the vendors. Admission at the door is $2.

Coin show coming

to Quality Inn

The Parkersburg Coin Club is sponsoring its annual fall coin show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Quality Inn on Pike Street in Marietta. Admission is free.

Warren Twp. Auxiliary

holds fundraiser

The Warren Township Fire Auxiliary will have a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Warren firehouse on Ohio 550. There will be music by Tunnel Hill Bluegrass. Food will be served, there will be a bake sale and a 50/50 drawing.
