¯ An officer was dispatched to the Marietta boat ramp on Oct. 24. A car belonging to Jacqueline Moore, of 221 ¢ B Greene St., was entered by breaking a window and a purse was taken.
¯ On Oct. 24, officers were dispatched to 415 ¢ Third St., in reference to a disturbance. James J. Carpenter, of 1006 Third St., said that Scott L. Carpenter, of 415 ¢ Third St., had struck him in the head with an aluminum baseball bat and then fled on a bicycle. Scott Carpenter was apprehended in the 200 block of Greene Street a short time later. He was arrested for felonious assault.
¯ Aaron Taylor, of 964 Lancaster St., reported Oct. 25 that two motorcycles were stolen from the residence between 11 p.m. Oct. 24 and 4:30 a.m. Oct. 25.
¯ Baker & Baker Jewelers, 105 Putnam St., reported Oct. 25 that merchandise had been shoplifted. The items were noticed as missing during inventory. Store surveillance showed a suspect taking the items.
¯ Marietta High School reported Oct. 25 that a student had lost his wallet. When it was later recovered, cash and gift cards has been stolen.
¯ Astin A. Oliver, of 100 Linwood Ave., reported Oct. 25 a violation of a protection order. Officer found Kenneth Rogers, last known address 100 Linwood Ave., inside the home. Oliver said she returned home to find him inside. She has an active protection order barring him from the residence. Rogers was arrested.
¯ An officer spoke with Carol Hurst at 213 Ingleside Ave. on Oct. 25 regarding her nephew, Walter McBride. Hurst was in the process of evicting McBride and requested officers stand by while she was at the residence.
¯ Peebles, 450 Pike St., Suite G, reported Thursday that a suspect took clothing and then fled the store. The suspect was identified by a clerk as Eric Edgar, homeless, last known address Whipple. He was eventually located running across Pike Street and was arrested.
¯ Alex Armistead, of 105 Gilman Ave. Lot 8, was cited for disorderly conduct Friday after creating a disturbance at the main gate at Don Drumm Stadium by cursing, making threats and being combative. He left the area when a school administrator confronted him and was located in the 400 block of Hart Street. He was barred from coming onto any Marietta school grounds or attending any school activity as he has also caused problems at other school events.
¯ An officer was dispatched to Kroger on Saturday in reference to the theft of a battery tester.
¯ Officers were dispatched Sunday to 710 Front St., Apt. 7 in reference to a disturbance. Darren M. Edwards, of 710 Front St., Apt. 6, said Aaron J. Streight, of the same address, was intoxicated and had made threats to harm him. Streight was charged with menacing.
¯ An officer was dispatched to 834 Pike St. on Monday in reference to an unwanted person there. Kevin C. Bliss, last known address Tyler Highway, Sistersville, W.Va., was found there. He is a fugitive from justice with an outstanding warrant from Wetzel County, W.Va. He was taken to jail to await extradition.
¯Par Mar, 66 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, reported the theft of tobacco items from the store on Sunday. This case remains under investigation.
¯ On Sunday, a deputy responded to 22883 State Route 339, Beverly , in reference to locating a subject wanted by the Belpre Police Department on outstanding warrants. Jess Daniel Dixon, 35, was located at the residence and taken into custody by deputies. A syringe was located in his pocket and there was a strong odor of marijuana. Deputies then located a crock pot on the porch with an unknown liquid being used to boil marijuana. Also located was a metal can in the area where Dixon was by the porch. Located inside the can was a plastic zip lock bag containing .44 grams of a crystal substance consistent with methamphetamine. Dixon was placed under arrest on the warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail. During a search a small baggie of marijuana was located in his pants pocket. Dixon was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug abuse instruments and conveying into a detention facility.
¯ Amber Brunoni, of 840 Dana Road, Newport, reported a Yamaha dirt bike missing from her property on Monday. This case remains under investigation.
¯ Par Mar #7, 17785 State Route 7, Marietta, reported item(s) removed from the store on Monday. This case remains under investigation.
¯ On Tuesday, the Little Hocking and Dunham volunteer fire departments along with deputies responded to 2342 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, to a camper fire. The camper was found to be a total loss. This case remains under investigation.
¯ Jerricho L. Pugh, of 25 Watertown Road, Waterford, probation violation, original charge unauthorized use of motor vehicle, and probation violation, original charge driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
¯ Ashley D. Mahoney, last known address 595 W. 5th Street, Chillicothe, failure to appear, original charge tampering with evidence.

¯ Jordan Brady Mincks, 20, of Outpost Road, Belle Valley, was arrested Friday for improper handling of a firearm, a felony, OVI, drug paraphernalia, drug possession and no seat belt, all misdemeanors.
¯ Joshua Don Martin, 37, of 309 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, was arrested Friday on a warrant for contempt of court order, a misdemeanor.
¯ Raymond Edwin Trivett, Jr., 62, of 210 ¢ Fourth St., Beverly, was arrested Friday on a warrant for telephone harassment, a misdemeanor.
¯ Robert Leigh Smith, 34, of 1603 Beaver St., Parkersburg, on a warrant for receiving stolen property, a felony. Smith was picked up at Denmar Correctional Facility and processed into the Washington County Jail on Friday.
¯ Jeremy Michael Charlton, 37, of 819 Marple St., Belpre, was arrested Saturday for domestic violence and violation of a protection order, both misdemeanors.
¯ Alex Jacks Handschumacher, 39, of 113 Dayton Road, Marietta, was arrested Saturday for two probation violations and breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors.
¯ Kimberly Renee Hesson, 18, of 155 Sunset Drive, Marietta, was arrested Sunday for trafficking in drugs, drug possession, felonies, and drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

¯ Sydney Eric Lee Noland, 21, of 4001 11th Ave., Parkersburg, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Noland turned himself in at the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday.
¯ Joshua Wayne Youngblood, 34, of 309 Scammel St., Marietta, was arrested Monday for failure to register and FRA suspension, both misdemeanors.
¯ Justin Lee Dillon, 28, of 38725 State Route 681, Reedsville, for driving under suspension, no seatbelt and possession of drug abuse instruments, all misdemeanors. Dillon was picked up in Athens County and processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday.
¯ Everett Christopher Freeland, 32, of 110 ¢ Lee St., Belpre, was arrested Monday for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Corey Levi Morrison, 20, of 1160 Hadley Hollow Road, Marietta, was arrested Monday for FRA suspension, probation violation and assault, all misdemeanors.
¯ Kevin Christopher Bliss, 25, of 4505 Tyler Highway, Sistersville, W.Va., was arrested Monday for fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.
¯ Shelly Lynn Lahai, 43, of Browns Road, Unit 10, Marietta, was arrested Monday on a warrant for failure to appear, a misdemeanor.
¯ Tyler Edward Goodwin, 19, of 731 Greene St., Marietta, was arrested Tuesday for violation of protection order and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
¯ McKenzie Ann Cowman, 24, of 814 Seneca Drive, Belpre, was arrested Tuesday for violation of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
