¯ On Nov. 28, officers responded to Speedway, 433 Second St., after a clerk was told about a possible sexual assault that may have occurred elsewhere earlier in the evening. All parties involved were located and all denied any assault occurred.

¯ Officers were dispatched Nov. 28 to Super 8 Motel, 46 Acme St., in regard to two runaway boys from Charleston, W.Va. being there. Officers made contact with the juveniles and they were later released to their parents.

¯ Martin E. Santini, of 232 N. Seventh St., reported Nov. 28 damage to a cable box.

¯ Dana L. Ritchie reported Nov. 29 that a check belonging to her mother, Kay F. Hansen, of 832 Ridge St., was stolen.

¯ The mother of an 8-year-old boy reported Nov. 29 that an employee at his school assaulted him. The incident was reported to the principal and remains under investigation.

¯ An employee of The Original Pizza Place, 231 Second St., reported Nov. 29 that a patron stole a T-shirt. This case remains under investigation.

¯ A worker at the Marietta Welfare League Gift shop, 401 Matthews St., reported Nov. 30 that a shoplifter was in the process of leaving the hospital. Upon arrival, Vickie Thompson, of 300 Starlite Drive, Lot 26, was identified and arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and for the theft of 13 items valued at $209.87.

¯ School officials reported Nov. 30 that a male student had behaved inappropriately on the bus through language, gestures and actions toward other students.

¯ Jane E. Young, of 109 Knox St., reported that since April 2016 she had paid a contractor for projects at her residence and while the projects had been paid in full, the work wasn’t finished or was poorly constructed. She provided a home inspection report detailing the unfinished and poor work. The case remains under investigation.

¯ An employee of Speedway, 400 Muskingum Drive, reported Dec. 1 the theft of cigarettes from the store.

¯ An employee of Peebles, 450 Pike St., reported a shoplifter on Dec. 1. Deidre Murphy-Arnett, of 227 ¢ Franklin St., was arrested for theft.

¯ On Dec. 1, officers were dispatched to 405 Fourth St., Apt. 1 in reference to William Carter being there and having two warrants for his arrest. Officers had permission to enter from the primary resident. As they attempted to make entry, Carter tried to block the front door. He was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.

¯ James L. Antill, of 111 Fay Ave., reported Saturday the theft of a Yamaha ATV and a utility trailer.

¯ An officer was dispatched to 820 Pike St. on Saturday for the recovery of a $50 counterfeit bill. The bill was collected and statements were taken.

¯ An officer was dispatched to Marietta Memorial Hospital on Saturday in reference to an assault that had taken place in a common area. The investigation is continuing.

¯ On Saturday, officers were dispatched to 240 Hillcrest Drive in front of apartments 30-40 in reference to a possible domestic violence incident occurring in a car in the parking lot. The male advised the argument was verbal. The female involved, Kimberly Eddy, of 406 Harmar St., was found to have an active warrant out of West Virginia. She was arrested.

¯ Leeann A. McCourt, of 276 Ridgewood I, reported Monday that she had a diaper bag stolen from her car while it was parked at the Wash N Go Laundrymat in the Frontier Shopping Center. Keys and a cell phone were in the bag. ¯ Officers were dispatched Monday to 304 Kenwood St. to assist the Marietta Fire Department with a suspected drug overdose. The case remains under investigation.

Reports/Washington County

¯ Patricia Gibson, of 11776 State Route 555, Cutler, reported being assaulted by Sheldon Hill on Saturday at their residence. She said during an argument as she packed her belongings, he grabbed her arms and shoved her around on the porch, pushing her against a wooden post, causing the back of her head to strike the post several times. A deputy observed a scrape to Patricia’s left forearm and some bruising and red marks on her upper left arm from the altercation. Hill was unable to be located for an interview at the time of this investigation and his current whereabouts are unknown. A warrant was requested for Sheldon Dwight Hill, 34, of 11776 State Route 5565, Cutler, for domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony. A temporary protection order has also been requested.

¯ Par Mar, of 17785 State Route 7, Marietta, reported Monday that gloves were stolen from the store. This case remains under investigation.

¯ On Monday, deputies responded to Ludlow Township in reference to a deceased subject located in a vehicle. This case remains under investigation.

¯ A deputy responded to 38 Townhall Road, Marietta, on Wednesday in reference to a possible domestic disturbance at that address. Ruth Thrasher said she was involved in an argument with her boyfriend, Kenneth Tilton, and that both had been consuming alcohol that evening. She said Tilton flipped over the dining room table and she ended up getting knocked over it in the process, causing her to fall to the floor and sustain a large cut on her left elbow. Tilton admitted to getting into an argument but denied physically assaulting Thrasher. Kenneth Ewing Tilton, 48, of 730 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, was placed under arrest for domestic violence.

¯ William Joseph Carter, Sr., 33, of 405 Fourth St., Marietta, was arrested Dec. 1 on two warrants for domestic violence and disrupting public service, both felonies and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

¯ Kimberly Dawn Eddy, 31, of 406 Harmar St., Marietta, was arrested Saturday for fugitive from justice, a felony.

¯ Ashley Marie Holdren, 27, of 50755 State Route 248, Long Bottom, was arrested Saturday for theft, a felony.

¯ Matthew Twain Berga, 39, of 501 ¢ Third St., Marietta, was arrested Sunday for fictitious plates, a misdemeanor.

¯ Velinda Bernice Berga, 18, homeless, was arrested Saturday for obstructing official business, disorderly conduct and fugitive from justice, all misdemeanors.

¯ Warren Calvin Ritchie, 61, of 27335 State Route 7, Lot 17, Marietta, was arrested Sunday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Jesse James Bell, 36, of 4220 Welch Road, Little Hocking, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear, a felony, confining or restraining dogs and probation violation, both misdemeanors.

¯ James Kevin Ohse, Jr., 21, of 4640 Oakhill Road, Stockport, was arrested Monday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Daniel Alexander Baxter, 28, of 707 George St., Belpre, was arrested Monday for probation violation, a felony.

¯ Tasha Ann Cain, 30, of 7276 Austin Drive, McConnelsville, on a warrant for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Cain was picked up in Nelsonville and processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday.

¯ Samuel Joseph Fourqurean, 21, of 207 Clark St., Belmont, W.Va., on a warrant for obstructing justice, two counts of drug possession, all felonies, drug paraphernalia and drug instrument possession, both misdemeanors. Fourqurean was picked up at North Central Regional Jail and processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday.

¯ Matthew Eugene Petty, 34, of 11034 State Route 339, Vincent, was arrested Monday for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

¯ Robert Marion McKitrick, 63, of 4597 County Nine Road, Reno, was arrested Tuesday for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

¯ Eugene Robert Offenberger, 62, of 106 Plum St., Apt. 1, Marietta, was arrested Tuesday for probation violation, a felony.

¯ Bryan Christopher Sturm, 25, of 331 Main St., Lower Salem, was arrested Tuesday for theft and burglary, both felonies.

¯ Brandon Joshua Blevins, 28, of 600 Ullman St., Beverly, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for theft and failure to reinstate operator’s license, misdemeanors.

¯ Stephanie Lynne Wilson, 39, of 65335 Slaughter Hill Road, Cambridge, for OVI and drug paraphernalia. Wilson was picked up in Cambridge and processed into the Washington County Jail on Wednesday.

¯ Jeremy Ray Davis, 39, of 1072 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras, was arrested Wednesday for trafficking in drugs, a felony.

¯ Chad Robert Dixon, 41, of 1971 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras, was arrested Wednesday for trafficking in drugs and two counts of having weapons under disability, all felonies.

¯ Corey Wayne Cowan, 27, of 25 Lane Road, Vincent, was arrested Wednesday for failure to appear, a misdemeanor.

¯ Stephen Paul Ritchie, 48, of 1308 Williamson Ave., New Matamoras, was arrested Wednesday for drug possession, a felony.

¯ Patrick Caprice Henry, 45, of 284 Irwin St., Cincinnati, was arrested Wednesday for burglary, a felony.

¯ Mary Ruth Carpenter, 56, of 20475 State Route 60, P.O. Box 534, Beverly, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for theft, a misdemeanor.

¯ Tequan Montek Pratt, 22, of 137 Morris Drive, Montgomery, W.Va., was arrested Thursday for speeding and driving under suspension, both misdemeanors.

¯ Kenneth Ewing Tilton, 48, of 730 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, was arrested Thursday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Patrick Dean Worstell, 33, of 320 Browns Road, Marietta, was arrested Thursday on two warrants for failure to appear and breach of recognizance, both felonies.

¯ Weston Alexander Wagner, 20, of 21456 Brownrigg Road, Waterford, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony.
