Barlow library offers computer classes

The Barlow location of the Washington County Public Library, at 45 White Oak Professional Center, will be offering the following free computer class in February, 2018:

Using Computers – An Introduction

Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m.

This class is primarily for people who have never used a computer or anyone who is baffled by them. The class cover the different parts of a computer, how computers work, what they can do, and what to look for if you are shopping for one.

Using Computers – First Steps

Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m.

This class introduces the main features of Windows 10, including the desktop, the taskbar, and the Start Menu. You will also learn how to turn on your computer, interact with it using a mouse, and the correct way to shut it down when you are finished.

Computer classes are free of charge and last two hours. Space is limited so registration in recommended.
