Ohio River Benchmarks for Marietta, Belpre

Local officials say they will be working to make sure existing benchmarks are accurate. Use these as a guide, but officials say it’s important to “know your number.”

Flood stage is 35 feet, moderate flood stage is considered 38 feet and major flood stage is considered 40 feet by the National Weather Service.
