¯ A deputy began an investigation Saturday in reference a possible domestic incident. In speaking with all parties involved it was determined to be unfounded.

¯ On Saturday, a deputy met with Shannon Zigmund regarding a disturbance that occurred at 1111 Lancaster St., Marietta, with James Williams. Zigmund and Williams had been living in the same residence and reported an argument that escalated. After speaking with all parties it was determined that disorderly conduct charges would be filed on James A. Williams, 61, and Shannon M. Zigmund, 33, through Marietta Municipal Court.

¯ A deputy responded to 5045 Veto Road, Vincent, on Saturday to a domestic dispute. After speaking with all parties involved Charley Samuel Whealdon, 74, was placed under arrest on two counts of domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

¯ A deputy responded to 301 Main St., Lowell, on Sunday for a theft complaint. An Ohio Valley Cab Co. driver stated two females were picked up in Marietta and taken to Lowell and upon exiting the vehicle the females took off and did not pay the $24.50. A deputy located the women, Andrea Noel Fry, 26, of 106 Washington St., Marietta, and Tabatha Dawn Cain, 38, of 301 Jennison St., Beverly, and placed them both under arrest for theft.

¯ A deputy was dispatched to New Matamoras in reference to a possible intoxicated subject. Joshua Gore was located walking, wearing only a pair of black basketball shorts and shoes. Gore was sweating profusely and did not want to comply with the orders given to him. Joshua LeRoy Gore, 30, of 130 Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras, was transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of disorderly conduct by public intoxication.

¯ On Monday, a deputy began an investigation regarding a counterfeit $20 bill. This case remains under investigation.

¯ During a traffic stop Saturday on Casey Anderson, Anderson advised a deputy that there was nothing in the vehicle that was illegal, however later advised a box of syringes were under the seat. A search revealed suspected marijuana as well. A summons is being requested for Casey Alexis Anderson, 22, of 45437 Wiley Ave., Caldwell, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

¯ David Ward, of Warren Chapel Road, reported damage to a building on Monday. This case remains sunder investigation.

¯ On Monday, a deputy completed unruly charges on a 16-year-old boy who did not return to his residence after school.

¯ On Tuesday, a deputy, along with the Newport Volunteer Fire Department, responded to 1715 Newells Run Road to a house that was struck by lightning and was on fire.

¯ Jacob Walker, of 27400 State Route 7, Marietta, reported Tuesday that his home entered by force. This case remains under investigation.

Arrests/Washington County

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

¯ Daniel Lee Francis, 33, of 9580 State Route 339, Vincent, was arrested on a warrant for possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

¯ Joshua Kevin Anderson, 33, of 1954 State Route 83, Beverly, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

¯ William Eugene Obrien, 53, of 747 Whealdon Ave., Cutler, was arrested for breaking and entering, a felony and theft, a misdemeanor.

¯ Tyler Steven Clark, 26, of 212 Maple St., Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

¯ Shaun Michael Mentzer, 37, of Belpre, was arrested on a warrant for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
