¯ Tuesday a deputy met with Mekya McQueary who reported Christopher L. Raper, 48, of 33209 Big Lick Road, New Matamoras, threw her Samsung tablet into the Ohio River. Attempts to retrieve the tablet were unsuccessful. A summons is being requested for Raper on a charge of criminal damaging.
¯A deputy completed an unruly report Tuesday in Marietta Township. Charges of unruly will be filed in Washington County Juvenile Court.
¯ Benny Jones, of 33 Shaffer Road, Waterford, reported Tuesday damage to a vehicle at his residence. This case remains under investigation.
The following individuals were recently sentenced in Washington County Common Pleas Court:
¯ Justin Ryan Schroeder, 36, of 6235 Fifteenmile Creek Road, Wingett Run, was sentenced for F-4 aggravated trafficking in drugs, 12 months; F-4 trafficking in methamphetamine, 12 months; F-3 tampering with evidence, 30 months; F-5 possession of fentanyl, 10 months; and F-2 aggravated trafficking in drugs, 5 years; concurrent at Orient Correctional Facility.
¯ Douglas Edward Mitchell, 29, of 702 31st St., Vienna, was sentenced for F-2 sexual battery, and received eight years at Orient Correctional Facility.
¯ Gabrielle Elizabeth Rhoton, 22, of 29520 Murphy Road, Coolville, was sentenced for probation violation and received 30 days in the Washington County Jail.
¯ Jenna Danielle Radabaugh, 28, homeless, was sentenced for probation violation and received 17 months at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville.
¯ Gail Keeton, 63, of 2780 Miller Road, Shelby, was sentenced for F-5 Theft and M-1 criminal trespass, and received 180 days and 30 days, concurrent in the Washington County Jail.
The following subjects were recently processed into the Washington County:
¯ Kyle Anthony Rice, 18, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for underage consumption, a misdemeanor.
¯ Alonna Michelle Farley, 40, 802 Garfield Ave., Marietta, was arrested on a warrant for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
¯ Thomas William Dearth, 26, of 785 Bender Road, Marietta, was arrested on a warrant for theft, a felony.
¯ Elisha Ceylon Cross, 41, of 411 Elder St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arrested on a warrant for contempt, a felony.
There are currently 23 female inmates and 90 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
