Visitors bureau membership drive

The Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau 2014-2015 membership drive is under way. With a membership, the Marietta-Washington County CVB staff becomes an extension of your business team in order to market, promote and educate visitors about your destination.

It’s possible to become a member any point during the year but the member drive is an exclusive opportunity according to Shannon Beacham, member relations and group tour coordinator for the CVB. “The benefit to becoming a member during this drive is that you receive 10 percent off of a one year membership,” said Beacham. “Another benefit to joining now is that a new member can take advantage of CVB resources during the height of tourism season in Marietta-Washington County.”

Membership guarantees inclusion in the Official Getaway Guide, a profile page on the CVB website, access to an in house graphic designer, a public relations professional and much more. The materials the CVB provides occupy the majority of ways travelers receive information about Marietta, all contributing to a positive return on investment of $41.82 per dollar spent.

In addition to these resources, the CVB also develops presentations and seminars to offer insight and demonstrations to members and their staff members.

The 2014-2015 membership drive closes Wednesday, June 30. Those interested in receiving more information or are interested in becoming a member should contact Beacham at (740) 373-5178.
