Stewart joins MC
Robin Stewart, who has experience in higher education grant funding, has been named a grants, corporate and foundation gift officer at Marietta College.
Stewart, who will report to Marietta’s Vice President for Advancement Angela Anderson, will work with faculty and staff on campus to identify and secure funding opportunities that promote academic learning and bring new initiatives to campus. She officially started on Dec. 14.
Prior to joining Marietta, Stewart was a senior project manager at the Voinovich School of Leadership & Public Affairs at Ohio University. In that role, she managed community economic development projects in Appalachia Ohio. As such, Stewart secured more than $3 million in contracts and grants from private and public sources to deliver technical assistance to nonprofit and government organizations. She also served as a graduate research assistant in the State of Ohio Governor’s Office of Appalachia.
Stewart is a 1998 graduate of Capital University where she earned bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also earned a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University 2003 and she anticipates adding a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from Ohio in 2016. Stewart lives in Marietta with her daughter, Maya.
