Williamstown Bank’s 100th Anniversary Celebration and Donation Drive

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Williamstown Bank will host a community event and donation drive on June 14. The event will be held in Tomlinson Park in Williamstown from 5:30-8 p.m. Donations will be accepted for The Children’s Home Society of West Virginia, The Humane Society (Pleasants County and Parkersburg locations) and The Williamstown Food Pantry. Those attending the event are asked to bring non-perishable items to donate to these charitable organizations. Attendees who donate will receive raffle tickets for chances to win up to $500 in cash. Multiple donations will generate multiple raffle tickets. Winning tickets will be drawn throughout the event. (You must be present to win.)

Live music will be provided by Insured Sound beginning at 6 p.m. Food vendors will include Napoli’s Pizza, Philippine’s Best Food, Hot Dog Willy’s, Big R BBQ, Kona Ice of the MOV and Cotton Candy by Grand Central Express. All food will be available for purchase only. Food vendors will be donating a percentage of their profits towards the charitable organizations mentioned above.

Cartoon Fun with J.D. Williamson will be performing caricature drawings, with tips benefiting the charitable organizations. Thomas Family Entertainment balloon twisters will also be in attendance. There will also be several inflatable bouncehouses for the children to enjoy.
