Galley hires marketing manager

The Galley, a popular casual-fine dining restaurant in Historic Marietta, is pleased to announce that Katie Radabaugh has joined its staff as catering and marketing manager.

“Katie comes to us with a wealth of catering and marketing knowledge as well as a passion for quality and excellent service,” said Mike Purcell, managing partner at The Galley. “Her strong ties to the area and the great relationships she has built through the years will be a true asset to our team.”

While catering and banquet services are not new to the restaurant, The Galley is introducing its unique vision for an entirely new catering service for the Mid-Ohio Valley.

“We’re very excited about bringing this level of quality and service to our area,” Radabaugh said. “This is a truly fresh perspective on catering. We’re sourcing locally grown and raised ingredients when possible. Our Culinary Director, Erling Berner, has designed a catering menu that is warm and comforting, yet sophisticated and elegant, inspired by his many years of culinary exposure all over the world.”

Radabaugh herself has extensive local catering experience, but it’s her love of people as much as food that keeps her drawn to the industry.

“Having grown up here, I know our community very well,” she said. “From complimentary consultations to sit-down tastings and customized options, we’re putting a very personal touch on the catering business.”

As the holidays quickly approach, Radabaugh says The Galley is more than ready to meet the catering needs of the busy season. “We look forward to making life easier for offices, family get-togethers, anyone looking to up the caliber of their celebrations,” she said. “We have a full liquor license, so we can provide complete adult beverage service in Ohio. That’s a rarity for the area.”
