Kids Night Out at Marietta YMCA

The Marietta Family YMCA will hold a Kids Night Out Friday. Gym games will include dodgeball, capture the pin and more. There will also be open swim and a snack. The cost is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.

Free tax help is available locally

Washington-Morgan Community Action is now assisting with filing of tax returns through the Ohio Benefit Bank. The free tax filing is offered to anyone whose annual household income is less than $60,000. Frontier board will meet Thursday

The Frontier Board of Education will have its February monthly meeting at 7:15 p.m. Thursday in the Frontier High School library.

Fort Frye meeting location changed

The location of the February regular meeting of the Fort Frye Local Board of Education has been changed to Fort Frye High School, Room 204, 420 Fifth St., Beverly. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday.

ODOT meeting will discuss Ohio 26

The Ohio Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the rerouting, number removal and abandonment of Ohio 26 in Marietta. The meeting will be held at the Ohio Department of Transportation District 10 Office at 338 Muskingum Drive, Marietta. Relay For Life event for Tunnel church

The Tunnel United Methodist Church Relay For Life team will hold a fundraiser dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in the church fellowship hall. The menu will include homemade lasagna, salad, garlic bread, beverages and dessert. All donations will go to Relay For Life (American Cancer Society). The church is located on Ohio 550, four miles west of Marietta.
