Flu vaccines at county health dept.

The Washington County Health Department will give flu vaccinations for $5 to those 18 and older from 9 am. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. No appointment is necessary. Only cash will be accepted. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Supper at Palmer Community Center

A spaghetti supper will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. March 16 at the Palmer Community Center on Ohio 676. The menu will also include salad, rolls, drinks, pie or cake. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. There will also be a mini craft raffle.

Muskingum Zoning Commission meets

The Muskingum Township Zoning Commission will hold its regular quarterly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the Muskingum Township Building.

Sausage supper, speaker in Waterford

The National Farmers Organization will hold its annual sausage supper at 7 p.m. March 21 at Waterford High School. The meal includes whole hog sausage, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy and dessert. The cost is $8. Larry Mitchell of GIPSA is the scheduled speaker. Thirty-one bingo fundraiser March 16

A Thirty-one bingo will be held March 16 at the Marietta Township Recreation Center. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 5. The cost is 20 games for $20. The event is sponsored by the WSCC Upward Bound College Prep program and proceeds will provide scholarships for local students.

Beverly Masonic Lodge soup lunch

An all-you-can-eat soup luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Beverly Masonic Lodge. There will be four kinds of soup, along with sandwiches and dessert. Donations will be accepted. Carry-out and delivery is available: 984-2826.

PSEO meetings at Marietta High School

Marietta High School will host two Post Secondary Enrollment Option meetings. Prospective PSEO students and a parent are required to attend one of these meetings to be held at 7 p.m. March 19 and April 4 in the auditorium. MHS counselors and local college representatives will present information regarding PSEO requirements and procedures for 2013-14. All students planning to participate in PSEO during the 2013-14 school year must have completed and returned the Intent to Participate Form by March 22.
