Frontier choirs hold spring concert

The Frontier High and Middle School Choir will present their spring concert at 2 p.m. Sunday in the school cafetorium. Admission for the concert is $2 for adults and $1 for children.

Warren trustees meeting changed

The Warren Township Trustees meeting scheduled for Monday will be held instead at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Warren Township Administration Building, 95 Coffman Road, Marietta.

Harley group to honor veterans

The Borderline Harley Owners Group will be serving food for the price of a donation at its sponsoring dealership, S&P Harley Davidson, in Williamstown from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 1. Appearing from 1 to 3 p.m. will be the bluegrass band Johnny Staats and the Delivery Boys. All donations will be given to the Nick Null Memorial Foundation, to honor and celebrate the life of the soldier and Parkersburg native and all of the brave soldiers from the Mid-Ohio Valley who lost their lives fighting for our country.

Pianist will perform for donation

Marietta native Mark Kelso will return to town to give a concert of piano music and songs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, at Fourth and Wooster streets. Admission is by donation. CDs will be available for sale after the concert.

No trash pickup for Memorial Day

Rumpke waste removal and recycling collection service will not take place Monday due to the Memorial Day holiday. Service will be delayed one day for the rest of the week.

Bicycle helmet fitting is planned

Cash Pal and the Marietta City Health Department will hold a children’s bike helmet fitting and giveaway from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cash Pal, 203 Pike St., Marietta.

Pancake breakfast fundraiser

Applebee’s of Marietta will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser for House of Hope from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. June 1. The cost is $5 per person. House of Hope provides resources for adult citizens trying to recover their mental health.
