American Girl series at Marietta library

American Girl summer reading programs will be offered by the Marietta location of the Washington County Public Library Mondays at 2:30 p.m. for those 7 and older. There will be discussions, games, music, crafts and food. The themes are as follows: Monday – Rebecca; June 10 – Marie-Grace & Cecile; June 17 – Addy; June 24 – Saige; July 1 – Molly; July 8 – Caroline; July 15 – Kit; July 22 – Summer Blowout Party. Each program is held in either the library meeting room or the Campus Martius Museum. To register, stop by the Youth Services Department or call 373-1057, Ext. 219.

Shots available at city health dept.

The Marietta City Health Department will hold immunization clinics from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 10, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 17 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 24. Appointments are not necessary.

There will be a Pediatric Well-Child Clinic June 6. This clinic is open to anyone under the age of 21 and there is no charge for this exam. Call 373-0611, Ext. 109 for an appointment.

Disabilities board to meet Tuesday

The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold a regular board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ewing School, 1701 Colegate Drive, Marietta.

Harmar Hill crime watch group to meet

The next Harmar Hill Neighborhood Crime Watch meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Lookout Park. The program will be given by Pharmacist Vince Stollar.

Fearing Twp. meeting changed to Monday

The Fearing Township regular meeting for June has been changed from June 10 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the township office in Stanleyville.

Archers Fork Bridge prject set to start

Washington County Road 14 (Archers Fork Road) will be closed beginning Tuesday for the replacement of the Archers Fork Bridge, located just east of Ohio 26 in Lawrence Township. The project is expected to be complete by Aug. 26.
