Spaghetti benefit for Harmar Bridge Co.
The Historic Harmar Bridge Company will celebrate its 30th anniversary by hosting an “all you can eat” spaghetti dinner at Spagnas Italian Restaurant from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The dinner includes: spaghetti marinara with meatballs, salad, garlic bread, dessert and a beverage, all for $10. All proceeds will help to support the Harmar Bridge Company, which is a nonprofit 501-C3 corporation.

Free community meal at UU Church
The First Unitariarn Universalist Society of Marietta will offer a community meal from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday in the fellowship hall, 232 Third St., Marietta. The meals are held on the second Friday of each month. Meat and vegetarian meals are provided.
Wall of Sound to play concert Monday
The Marietta High School “Wall of Sound” marching band will hold a concert at 7 p.m. Monday in the Marietta High School auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
Craft show at Our Lady of Mercy
The 24 annual craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Our Lady of Mercy Church Hall on Lowell Hill Road. Admission is free. There will be food including chicken pie, noodles, homemade pies and other baked goods as well a selection of crafts.
Free meal at St. Luke’s in Marietta
A free community meal will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 320 Second St., Marietta.
Frontier association dinner is planned
FLEDA, the Frontier Local Economic Development Association, will hold its annual commerce dinner on Friday at Frontier High School. This annual event recognizes businesses and individuals for their contribution to the economic wellbeing of the FLEDA area. Tickets are $15 per person which include dinner and awards ceremony. Tickets may be purchased by calling 373-6681 or 373-3745, Ext. 201.
Election Day luncheon on Tuesday
The annual Election Day soup and sandwich luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 pm Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, Fourth and Wooster streets, Marietta. The cost is $6 for soup, sandwich, dessert and a drink. All proceeds will go to the Latrobe Street Mission.
