Traffic restrictions

at Seventh, Greene

The Marietta Wastewater Department will be making a sanitary sewer tap at the corner of Pike and Seventh streets beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic will be restricted in the northbound lane of Seventh Street from Pike and Greene streets. Work is expected to be completed by Thursday.

Dinner celebrates Harmar milestone

The Historic Harmar Bridge Company will celebrate its 30th anniversary by hosting an “all you can eat” spaghetti dinner at Spagnas Italian Restaurant from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The dinner includes: Spaghetti marinara with meatballs, salad, garlic bread, dessert and a beverage, all for $10. All proceeds will help to support the Harmar Bridge Company, which is a nonprofit 501-C3 corporation.

The St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Mary Church in Marietta is in need of usable furniture, bedding, appliances and household goods. Volunteers can pick up items by calling 376-1334 and leaving a message. All items are provided at no cost to those in need.

Pancake breakfast for Secret Santa

The Washington-Morgan Community Action Secret Santa program will host a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Applebee’s, 482 Pike St., Marietta. The tickets are $5 each with children under 5 eating for free. The menu includes two pancakes and a drink. Tickets will be sold at the door and Washington-Morgan Community Action, 218 Putnam St. The money raised with this event will be used to buy gifts for children in the Secret Santa Program. Warren Band

Boosters craft fair

The Warren High School Band Boosters will host its 35th annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the school. There will be more than 130 crafters, along with concessions, bake sales, a country store and a raffle. Proceeds benefit the Warren High School Band.
