Planned water outage for Warren area

A Warren Community Water and Sewer Association planned water outage will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday for line repairs in the Oak Grove area. It will affect homes and businesses on Waterford Road, Ash Road, Pineview Circle, Oak Grove Road and Oakview Lane. A boil advisory will be in effect.

Changes for Fort Frye BOE?meeting

The location and time of the January regular meeting of the Fort Frye Local Schools Board of Education on Thursday has been changed to the Salem-Liberty Elementary School Cafeteria at 5 p.m.

There will be a Building and Grounds Committee meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Salem-Liberty Elementary School library.

Belpre BOE meeting planned for Monday

The Belpre City Schools Board of Education will hold its organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Stone Administration Building/Early Learning Center, with the regular meeting to follow.

Flu vaccine offered in Marietta

The Marietta City Health Department has received 20 doses of flu vaccine. These will be administered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday or until the doses are depleted. The cost for the flu vaccine is $25 or Medicare or Medicaid is accepted.

Commissioners meeting Monday

The Board of Commissioners of Washington County will conduct its annual organizational meeting at 9 a.m. Monday in the Assembly Room at 223 Putnam St., Marietta.

Dance to benefit Worsham family

A winter dance benefit will be held from 5 to 11 p.m. Jan. 26 at the VFW Post 5108 on Pike Street in Marietta. The cost is $7 per person or $12 per couple, with children 5 and under free. All proceeds will go towards end of life costs for Vietnam veteran Charles Worsham. There will be dancing, food and a silent auction with photos available. Donations are being accepted for the auction.
