Quilt show planned in Noble County
A quilt show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 14 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 15 at the Noble County Courthouse in Caldwell. There will be three floors of more than 50 quilts.
Emergency Planning Committee to meet
The Washington County Local Emergency Planning Committee will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Washington County Emergency Operations Center, 204 Davis Ave., Suite C, Marietta.

Library, planetarium team up for event
The Washington County Public Library invites children ages 5-12 and their families to Marietta College’s Anderson Hancock Planetarium at 7 p.m. Thursday for the full dome video “Secret of the Cardboard Rocket.” It includes visits to all of the planets and the event will also include a live star talk focusing on what is visible in the current evening sky. Registration is required and limited to 100. To register, call 373-1057, Ext. 219 or stop by the Youth Services Department at the Marietta Library. Parking is available in the Hermann Fine Arts parking lot.
Dads invited to Lowell church for breakfast
A Father’s Day Breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. June 14 at Highland Ridge Community Church, 2200 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, toast, coffee, orange juice and milk.

Sewer repairs in Mission Drive area
The Marietta Wastewater Department will be making sanitary sewer repairs in the area of 103 Mission Drive on Monday. Access may be limited at times to allow for equipment and material access. Repairs are expected to be completed by Wednesday.
Flag Day parade will be held in Reno
A Flag Day parade will be held at 3 p.m. June 15 starting at the Marietta Township Recreation Center on Sandhill Road in Reno. Any participants are welcome and should line up at 2 p.m. on Summit Road. There will be a program for veterans and a picnic following the parade. Community members are asked to bring dessert and lawn chairs.
