Woman seriously hurt in crash on Ohio 7
A Marietta woman was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital Monday evening after a two vehicle crash on Ohio 7.
Alisha Harris, 23, was attempting to turn left onto Ohio 7 from Blue Knob Road in Warren Township but failed to yield the right of way to a 2002 Chevy Cavalier traveling in one of the southbound lanes of Ohio 7, said Trooper David trooper David Handschumacher of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The Cavalier, driven by 37-year-old Jonathan Arnold, of Lowell, struck Harris’ 2003 Honda, spinning it.
Harris was transported with “serious but not life-threatening injuries,” said Handschumacher.
Arnold was not injured.
Harris will be cited as the at fault driver. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected as factors in the crash.
