Reports/Washington County

¯ Staff of the Washington County Career Center reported Wednesday that a juvenile was found with marijuana, a glass smoking pipe and a lighter. School personnel were advised that the female restroom smelled like what they thought was marijuana. The female was questioned and admitted to personnel at the school that she had smoked marijuana in the school bathroom. A summons will be requested through Washington County Juvenile Court charging possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Bryan A. Smith, of 595 Danas Run Road, Newport, reported Wednesday that his home was entered and items of value were removed. This case remains under investigation.

¯ Valerie Garrett, of 27055 State Route 7, Marietta, for possession of drugs.

Arrests/Washington County

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

¯ Autumn Roshelle Barnhart, 18, of 1308 Williamson Ave., New Matamoras, was arrested Wednesday for theft and drug instrument possession, both misdemeanors.

¯ Zachariah Harold Earley, 27, of 1426 Earley Ridge Road, New Matamoras, was arrested Wednesday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Sandra Lee Carver, 53, of 114 Oak Grove Lane, Marietta, was arrested Wednesday for failure to appear, a misdemeanor.

¯ David Wayne Evans, 41, of 16120 State Route 821, Macksburg, was arrested Wednesday for drug abuse permitting, a misdemeanor.
