‘Always… Patsy Cline’ at MOVP postponed

Mid-Ohio Valley Players announce the postponement of “Always… Patsy Cline” due to the death of the director, Ron Harmon. The production was scheduled for March. “Always…Patsy Cline” will be presented Jan. 19-20, 26-28 and Feb. 2-3, 2018.

Ely Chapman Spring Fling this month

The Ely Chapman Education Foundation will hold its Spring Fling from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 25. There will be free books, an amusement park carnival and food including Loretta’s famous chicken and noodles. There will also be a bake sale and silent auction.

Registration days for Waterford kindergarten

Registration for Waterford Elementary kindergarten will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily the week of March 6-10. The child must be 5 before Aug. 1 to register. Parents should bring the child’s birth certificate, shot records, Social Security number and a custody paper if applicable. Children don’t need to be present for the registration. Screenings will be held April 24 and 25.

Community meeting about ACA March 9

The nonprofit UHCAN Ohio is hosting a community meeting about the Affordable Care Act and upcoming changes to health care. All are welcome, especially anyone who has questions about what’s next or wants to share their experience with health care, good or bad.

The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 9 at the Washington County Public Library, 215 Fifth St., Marietta.

Fish fry at American Legion Post 64

An all-you-can-eat fish fry will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. March 11 at the American Legion Post 64. The dinner will benefit Relay For Life. The cost is $7 and will include fish, cole slaw, baked beans and fries. The meal is open to the public.
