The regular meeting of the Warren Local Schools Board of Education has been moved to 6 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Warren Administration Office, 220 Sweetapple Road, Vincent.

The Operations Committee meeting of the board is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Warren Administration Office.

Diet & Inflammation, a free seminar on understanding the causes and the long term effects of inflammation, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Back In Line Chiropractic & Wellness LLC, The Epicenter Building, 107 Lancaster St., Marietta. Refreshments will be provided.

The seminar will be led by Dr. David Norris DC, MS, DACBN, Chiropractic Physician, Masters in Nutrition, Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist. Call for reservations at 216-659-0334.

The regular monthly meeting of the Washington County Behavioral Health Board will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Behavioral Health Board office, 344 Muskingum Drive, Marietta. In addition the Public Information and Education Committee will meet at the Behavioral Health Board office from noon to 1 p.m. today. The Program Planning and Oversight Committee will meet at the Behavioral Health Board office on Tuesdays, today and Oct. 23 at 1 p.m.

These meetings and all meetings of the Washington County Behavioral Health Board and its committees are open to the public.

The Southeast Ohio Foodbank, a program of Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, will be hosting a mobile food distribution at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Marietta from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 24. Food items will be given away to income eligible families who are at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and are residents of Washington County. Pre-registration is required by calling 740-385-4495. Photo I.D. and proof of residency no more than 60 days old is required.

The Village of Beverly Volunteer Fire Department will be testing and flushing fire hydrants in Beverly and Waterford on Monday evenings in October. If water becomes discolored, run water until it becomes clear.
