The Belpre City Schools Board of Education will hold a special board meeting at 4 p.m. Friday. The session will be held at the Stone Administration Building/Early Learning Center. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct an executive session only.

A Mid-Ohio Valley Veterans Resource Fair will be presented by the Mid-Ohio Valley Veterans Outreach, hosted by Washington State Community College, from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 15. The event will be held in the Commons Area of the Main Building on campus, 710 Colegate Drive, Marietta.

The Townsquare Quiltlovers Guild will meet at 9 a.m. Nov. 12 at St. Stephens Church in Caldwell to sew charity quilts. Anyone interested in sewing is welcome to join the group. Bring a machine if you have one. Any level of experience is welcome. Experienced quilters in the guild are glad to teach beginners. The guild has several members residing in surrounding counties and look forward to meeting new potential members.

The guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month except December at 6 p.m. at St.Stephens. New members are welcome. Ask any member or call Karen Schott at 740-732-4496 for additional information.

The regular monthly meeting of the Washington County Behavorial Health Board will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 at the board office, 344 Muskingum Drive, Marietta. In addition, the Public Information and Education Committee will meet at the board office from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 13. The Program Planning and Oversight Committee will meet at the board office at 1 p.m. Nov. 13. All meetings are open to the public.

The Historic Harmar Bridge Company will present an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Spagna’s Italian Restaurant, 301 Gilman Ave. The meal will also include salad, garlic bread, dessert and a beverage (soda, iced tea, coffee). Tickets are available at the door and are $12 for adults and $6 for children. All proceeds benefit the Historic Harmar Bridge Company.

Muskingum Township is studying corridors for the multi-use trail that will connect Devola and Marietta. The township will host a public meeting to present the corridor paths and provide an opportunity for public comment. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Devola Volunteer Fire Company, 1286 Masonic Park Road. Project consultants will give a presentation followed by an open house format. A fundraiser for the Palmer Community Center Playground will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Palmer Community Center on Ohio 676. The meal will include spaghetti, salad, rolls, dessert and drinks. The cost is a donation. There will also be a country store. All proceeds go the new playground. The event is sponsored by the Oak Hill Ladies Aide.
