The American Legion Post 64 Relay for Life team will host a baked steak dinner on Feb. 2 at the post. For $9 a plate, dinner will consist of baked steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, a roll and dessert. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. and continue until sold out. All proceeds go to Relay for Life.

The Marietta City Schools Athletic Advisory Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Marietta Middle School cafeteria. The agenda will include athletic league affiliation for both middle and high school sports and updates on the armory gym project and tennis courts. The public is encouraged to attend.

The Marietta Wastewater Department will be making a sanitary sewer repair in front of 745 Greene St., between Hart Street and Seventh Street on Tuesday, weather permitting. There will be no parking on the north side of the street and through traffic may be limited to allow access of equipment and material. Signs will be posted. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, however it may extend into the following week.

A meeting will be held for Marietta High School students interested in taking College Credit Plus/dual enrollment classes (at the high school or on the college campus) next school year. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the high school auditorium and local college representatives will be available for questions. Parents and their student are urged to attend in order to better understand the program.

The following Opioid Hub subcommittees of the Washington County Behavorial Health Board will meet as follows:

Opioid Treatment Subcommittee will meet on at 3 p.m. Jan. 28 at Life and Purpose, 207 Colegate Drive, Marietta.

Opioid Education Subcommittee will meet at 1 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Marietta City Schools Administrative Building, 111 Academy Drive.

Opioid Workforce Subcommittee will meet at noon Feb. 8 at the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce Office, 100 Front St., Marietta.

The Opioid Hub Meeting is scheduled for 1p.m. April 11 at Gold Star Park, 801 Lancaster St., Marietta.

These meetings and all meetings of the Washington County Behavioral Health Board and its committees are open to the public.
