The date and time of the regular January meeting of the Fort Frye Local Schools Board of Education has been changed to 5 p.m. Thursday at Beverly-Center Elementary School.

The 26th annual Marietta Tiger Alumni Basketball Tournament will be held March 15-17 at Marietta High School, Marietta Middle School and Wood County Christian School. Entry forms are available at Ketel1 Teamwear and via the Marietta Tiger Alumni Basketball Tournament Facebook page. The entry fee is $150 and team rosters are due by Feb. 22.

The Southeast Ohio Foodbank, a program of Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, will be hosting a mobile food distribution at the Washington County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 30. Food items will be given to income eligible families who are at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, and are residents of Washington County. Pre-registration is required by calling 740-385-4495 to register. Photo I.D. and proof of residency no more than 60 days old is required.

The 12th annual Mid-Ohio Valley Friends of NRA Banquet will begin at 5 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Churchtown K of C Hall. Tickets are $40 or $125 for a table.

The Beverly-Center Elementary PTO is holding a Thirty-One Bingo Fundraising event on Feb. 3 at the school. Doors open at noon and games start at 1 p.m. Concessions will be available. Tickets are $25 at the door or early bird tickets are $20 through students, PTO members or by contacting Megan Lockart at 740-350-6355. Must be 18 years old or older to play.

Beverly American Legion Post 389 is sponsoring a public steak fry from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at 114 Fifth St., Beverly. The cost is $12. The meal includes a steak, baked potato, salad, roll and coffee. Band Plan B will perform at 9 p.m.
