Pink Museum at MC presents program

The Pink Museum will present “Corsets, Crinolines & Other Restrictions Faced by Women” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Marietta College, Thomas Hall, room 103. Learn more about the restrictions early women had to face. A $5 donation is requested.

Chicken Pot Pie event at the Betsey

The Betsey Mills will host the ninth annual Chicken Pot Pie Fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. The meal includes a pot pie with sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw and Sweet Stop Lemon Cake for dessert. Tickets are $15. Orders can be delivered if placed by Feb. 15. A limited number of meals will be available for walk-in customers on the day of the event. Tickets are available in advance at The Betsey Mills Club or call to reserve at 740-373-4981.

Violinist will offer workshop, concert

Violinist and educator Christian Howes will host a workshop at Marietta College at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the band rehearsal hall, 208 Third St. A concert will follow at the McDonough Center at 7:30 p.m.

Ag Night sponsored by the Career Center

Ag Night will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Washington County Career Center on 21740 Ohio 676. The program is free and no registration is required. Keynote speaker will be Susan Crowell, editor of the Farm and Dairy publication. Breakout sessions will follow the keynote with topics such as dairy economics, beef industry opportunities, costs and values of crop production and current agricultural topics.

Professional Women’s Roundtable

A Professional Women’s Roundtable meeting will be held Feb. 27 at da Vinci’s, 215 Highland Ave., Williamstown, from noon to 1 p.m. The topic for the month is “Being Prepared to Care for Your Elderly” with featured speakers Laura Miller from the Glenwood Community and Amanda Stotts from Harmar Place Rehabilitation and Extended Care. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for the general public (includes lunch).
