The Art Department at Marietta College will host its annual Juried Student Art Show in the Atrium Gallery, third floor of Hermann Fine Arts Center, from today through March 7. The exhibition is open to the public and will feature drawings, paintings, prints, graphic designs and flat and solid design projects created by students from February 2018 until present. Prizes and awards will be announced during the artists’ reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 22.
Our Lady of Mercy Church will host all-you-can-eat Lenten fish fries on March 8 and 22 and April 5 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at 5001 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 13. Meals to go will be available.

Lowell Elementary PTO Thirty-One Bingo will be held March 1 in the school gym. Doors open at 5 p.m.; first game begins at 6 p.m. Early bird tickets on sale for $20, tickets at the door will be $25. There will be 20 games of bingo for Thirty-One bags. The event will include concessions, door prizes, raffles, 50/50 drawing and vendors. The Marietta City Schools Board of Education will hold its regular February board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at 111 Academy Drive.
O’Neill Senior Singers are welcoming new members and seeking a new piano player. Practice is at the O’Neill Center the first and fourth Wednesday every month and performances are each Monday. The next practice is at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

The Marietta Wastewater Department will be making a sanitary sewer tap in front of 215/217 Second St. between Butler and Putnam streets. The work will begin today, weather permitting. There will be no parking on either side of the street and the middle lanes will be closed to allow access of equipment and material. One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be maintained. Signs will be posted. The work is expected to be completed by Thursday but could extend into the following week.
