The AARP Tax-Aide Program is offering free tax return preparation at the Beverly Public Library on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Call 740-984-4060 for an appointment.

The Belpre City Schools Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Stone Administration/Early Learning Center. The public is invited to attend this meeting and all meetings held by the Belpre City Schools Board of Education.

The Washington County Health Department will be closed on Tuesday for a staff in-service. The department will reopen on Wednesday for regular business hours.

Marietta College will host a music therapy session for all veterans in the new Music Therapy Department at 6 p.m. Saturday in the McKinney building at 508 Putnam St. Admission is free and the event is casual. Future sessions will be held every other Tuesday.

The Barlow Branch Library located at 45 White Oak Professional Center in Vincent will host a Maple Sugaring program with Bring the Farm to You for the community at 10 a.m. Wednesday. This program introduces the audience to the process of turning tree sap into sweet maple syrup. The library will also kick off its concert series with a free performance by local musician, Tom Roddey, at 7 p.m. March 28 at 7 p.m. in the library’s lower level. A Bag Bingo will be held Sunday at St. Bernard’s Social Hall in Beverly. Doors open at 1 p.m. and games begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 if purchased ahead of time and $25 if purchased at the door. Advanced ticket buyers will be entered into a drawing for a door prize.
